Transit vehicles
With the demand for import cars through Tanzania to neighbouring country in East and Central Africa (Zambia, Congo –DRC, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda and Burundi) the need for clearance of such vehicles with customs or relevant revenue authorities and the need for transportation of such vehicles from Tanzania ports to different parts regionally and led to providing a specialized vehicle clearing and forwarding service.

Vehicles in transit to these countries are removed under bond and can only be taken under customs bond security.
Car carriers that move these vehicles must be licensed as a remover of goods in bond.
